- Boil water in a pot with salt.
- When water begins to boil, add oil and butter to a separate pan and heat up.
- Add linguini to boiling water.
- When butter is melted, add garlic and red pepper flakes; mix until coated with butter and oil mixture.
- Allow the garlic to sit for about 1 minute and then add in shrimp. Let the shrimp cook on one side about 1 minute for large shrimp and then flip.
- Allow shrimp to cook for a few seconds on other side and then add white wine.
- After about 2-3 minutes, when shrimp are fully cooked, add lemon juice. Lower heat to low.
- When pasta is al dente, drain the pasta and add it to the same pot as the shrimp. Add the parsley and mix all ingredients together.
